Westlock County and area residents are welcoming the warmer weather and preparing for enjoyable outdoor activities, including going to Long Island Lake Municipal Campground on a hot summer day. As campground managers and service providers, it is our responsibility to take the greatest care to provide our staff and campers with a safe and enjoyable environment in which to camp. We need your help to keep our campground safe and accessible to ensure the safety of all who want to enjoy the water, beach and camping.
Leave no trace; pack out what you pack in. This will keep our campground clean and reduce the potential for human-wildlife encounters.
NO FOOD, DRINK, OR PETS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH.

General Booking Information
a. Check-in time: 6:00 pm; Check-out time: 4:00 pm
b. Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (no barking dogs or generators).
c. The maximum stay is for fourteen (14) consecutive nights. Must vacate park for a minimum of fourteen (14) consecutive nights between reservations, lasting longer than 10 nights. Stays of five to thirteen nights, must vacate for a minimum of seven nights. Stays of one to four nights, must vacate for a minimum of three nights.
d. A maximum of six (6) adults and their dependent children may occupy a campsite.
e. The fee for a second unit in a campsite will be $26.25/unit/night. All units must be within the campsite. Small tents used as parts of a single-family unit with no additional vehicles are exempt.
f. Each campsite is allowed two (2) vehicles. Each additional vehicle will be charged a $10.50 per day fee and shall park in designated public parking lots.
g. No accessory structures or site alterations are permitted on any campsite.
h. Weekends must be booked as two nights including the Friday and Saturday nights (an email will be sent if booked incorrect or cancel with no refund).
i. Long Weekends must include the holiday inclusive of the three days (an email will be sent if booked incorrect or cancelled with no refunds.
Cancellation Policy
Cancelling a Reservation(s) must be made by emailing or calling Westlock County:
a. The reservation fee is non-refundable.
b. If a cancellation is made more than seven (7) days before 2:00pm of the day scheduled arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded.
c. If a cancellation is made less than seven (7) days but more than three (3) before 2:00pm of the scheduled arrival date, one night's camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded.
d. If a cancellation is made less than three (3) days before 2:00pm of the scheduled arrival date, camping fees will be forfeited and no camping fees will be refunded.
e. Notwithstanding Section 2.3 (ii and iii), no refunds of any kind will be made for cancellations that fall on or within a long Weekend.
f. Cancellations for the Group Campsite must be made fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date.
Campground Fees
a. Overnight Camping - $25.00
b. Day Use - $10.00
c. Boat Launch - $20.00
d. Wood - $8.00 (subject to availability)
Group Camping
Long Island Lake offers group camping for those wishing to host a family reunion or special occasion. Group site can hold up to 14 units (depending on length). Call the park office at 780-954-2261 for group bookings.
a. One Night -$250.00
b. Two Nights - $450.00
c. Three Nights - $600.00
d. Each Additional Night - $150.00
e. Each Additional Unit Over 14 - $10.00
GST will be added to all fees.

Note: -All ATVs will only be allowed in and out of the park on trailers. -Pets are not allowed in public areas and must be leashed at sites, constant barking will not be tolerated. -No Horses are allowed within the recreation lease/or Municipal Campground boundaries. -All rules are subject to the New Recreation Bylaw 05-2019 (please review prior to booking your reservation) and 6.13 County Campgrounds Policy
