State of Agricultural Disaster Declared

A State of Agricultural Disaster has been declared in Westlock County due to drought conditions in the area. County Council made the declaration at their September 14th, 2021 Council meeting after reviewing reports on low precipitation levels, poor forage and pasture conditions, stunted crop growth and weather conditions.

Transfer Station Winter Hours Effective October 1st

Westlock County provides four Waste Transfer Stations for County residents. Waste Transfer Stations are not landfills, but holding areas where waste is stored on a temporary basis until it is trucked to the Westlock Regional Landfill.
