Sewage Permits
A private sewage disposal system (PSDS) is for on-site treatment and/or disposal of sewage and all its components produced by a household. For health and liability reasons, private sewage disposal systems must be located a predetermined distance from buildings, water sources, water courses, and property lines. Water and Sewer permits are issued for new developments and they are typically taken out by the contractor doing the work.
